A return to a UI more like Windows 8's. (Seriously.)

How to count to 10: 1, 2, 3, 3.1, NT 3.1, NT 3.5, 95, NT 4, 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10.

I... honestly don't know what I would want to see. A merging of the Control Panel and Settings apps, maybe? More Aero-y bits? The return of desktop gadgets, or heck maybe even gadgets that live in the Action Center? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I DO want to see the return of the traditional Windows startup sound. We haven't had a regular one since 7! (8 doesn't count because even though it was in the Media folder it could never be turned on)

I was thinking about it and I feel like we should have a version of windows that has a built in version of luna and windows classic theme just like XP did for classic theme. If we keep windows 10's visual style, we should get those options and an aero option. It would be a nice nod to the history of windows and make it so you wouldn't have to hack windows to make it look nice.

I agree.

Bar the fact that Watercolour, Plex, Slate, Jade, almost every variant of Aero, both Squaero styles, and whatever the heck 9901 is would all most likely be omitted. While only Classic, Luna, Vista Aero, 7 Aero, and 8. Microsoft doesn't support betas, therefore most of Windows history would still require hax to access.

But let's say they do include, for example, Plex...I feel like we're finally at the point where they could do those concept videos justice, in terms of computing power.

Is it just me or does Windows 10 seem to be going back to how it looks on 8
